1 Month Already?!

Where has the time gone?! My little mamas is already one month - it's so crazy! It's hard to think about just one month ago (well from yesterday) I was in the hospital pushing this baby out. Labor was an amazing experience and definitely not anything like I thought it would be. I scared myself into thinking it would be some wild experience that I didn't think my body could do. I was completely wrong.

Briella has had an exciting little month so far. When she was five days old, she had a blood transfusion because her jaundice bilirubin level was extremely high (it was 29 when we went to the hospital - 15 is already cause for concern.) Briella is so strong, though, and went through the procedure like a trooper.

She is also cooing more and more every day and has managed to turn from tummy to back during tummy time, which she is not a fan of. Briella is incredibly active, too, I'm not sure where she needs to go so bad :P

I can't wait to see what this next month holds for us. My baby has so much personality already and I'm excited to see it develop more as she continues to grow. She has her 1 month appointment on Wednesday and I'm interested to see how much weight she's gained since last time...she's just growing so fast!
