So...you're a new mom?

Motherhood isn't anything I expected, and to be honest, I'm not quite sure what exactly I expected. I definitely didn't expect Briella to be such a good baby...so far. She'll be a month on Monday, the 14th. It's gone by so fast already! She's been successful at rolling over from tummy to back during tummy time, slowly figuring out self soothing techniques, and just being a big sweetie whenever she's awake.

I go back to work on the 29th, and to be honest, I'm really anxious. I'm so scared to leave my baby because, well, it's my baby. I've been home with her every day since we've gotten home. She'd be with her daddy until he goes to work in the afternoon and then to my dad's for a few hours until I get off. But still! I don't want to leave my little boo boo :(

Life as a new mom is something I think I'm starting to become adjusted to, I think? But I'm still learning right along with Briella. I'm excited for this journey to continue and to be the best mommy I can be :)
